Our Story (so far...)

Post House was born from a love of bold, unapologetic design—where color is a language, pattern is poetry, and home is an ever-evolving canvas. Since 2017, we’ve been crafting fabrics, pillows, rugs, wallpaper, and home objects that turn everyday spaces into something far richer—more personal, more alive.

It all started with a brushstroke. Our founder, Lance, painted the first patterns by hand, and from there, Post House grew into a global tapestry of artists and makers, each bringing their own sense of wonder to our collections. A conversation between modernity and the eclectic, our designs borrow from the past while leaning into the now—creating pieces that feel fresh yet timeless, curated yet full of spirit.

Sustainably printed and made to order in the U.S., our fabrics and pillows honor craft and conscious production. Meanwhile, our hand-knotted rugs are custom-dyed, sized, and shaped abroad to fit the dreamiest of visions. And as our world expands—now embracing wallpaper, artwork, lampshades, and furniture—we remain committed to the beauty of home as an art form.

Rooted in New York City but reaching far beyond, Post House is for those who see home as more than four walls. It’s for the collectors, the color lovers, the maximalists, and the mixologists of pattern. Whether you’re layering textures, clashing prints, or simply seeking that perfect, unexpected detail, we’re here to bring beauty from our Post House to yours.

About Lance, Founder

Lance Putnam moves through the world with an insatiable eye for creative beauty—one that’s been sharpened by years in high-end residential design and the seamless artistry of user experience on the web. Now, as Founder and Creative Director of Post House, he channels that vision into a lifestyle brand where soft home decor becomes an invitation—welcoming, vibrant, and deeply alive.

“The boldness of fabrics and textiles is always on my mind. I crave spaces where vivid colors collide, where iconic pieces breathe, and where patterns whisper the stories of those who live among them.”
