There’s nothing like being home for the holidays.
Working in the retail industry - Christmas starts very early for me (I’m already thinking ahead to Christmas 2020) and it has me on the road for many weekends of the fall exhibiting at shows. So when most of the busyness wraps up at the beginning of December - I take advantage of snuggly days around the Frasier firs while binging my favorite holiday movies.
This year, our Christmas decorations started making their way into our home at the beginning of November and right after Thanksgiving, we brought in and trimmed out three live Frasier firs. Decorating for the holidays never seems like work to me - its one of my favorite parts of the season! We love hosting parties and dinners during this time and having our home decked out makes it worth celebrating even more. The longer we can soak in all the festiveness the better!

Our Living Room Christmas Tree dressed in a palette of silvers and golds.
We mix up the mantle every year and this year we brought in plenty of flocking for the garland.
Our tulip vase that we picked up as a souvenir in Amsterdam turns into Christmas decor with sprigs of cedar and berries.

I love a little Christmas in every room and there is nothing better than falling asleep next to a live tree.
I love large cocktail table books all around the house and the Tom Ford book is one of my absolute favorites.

I'm so proud of how this wreath turned out. I took scrapes of our Gardens of Chinoise fabric and turned them into a bow - the perfect touch for this Chinoiserie inspired space.

I love decorating the guest bedroom for our holiday visitors and spreading a little festive cheer into each corner.
Our Christmas tree in the hallway is my favorite! It's decorated with hand-made ornaments and ones that we've collected from our travels. Almost every piece has a story to tell.
